  • MAJOR ROAD TRIP! (Well, for some of us, anyway.) According to Pollstar, Kevin will be performing twice this September:

Question: Why haven't the dates been announced on the official site?? Better question: Why are 2000's tour dates still there, and only accessible via Internet Explorer? Hmm...

    Sara Evans, Born To Fly

  • :::SIGH::: Have y'all heard Sara Evans' version of the song I Could Not Ask For More? Let's hope Kevin still includes his version on his next CD!

September 26, 2000:

  • LET'S GO! Kevin Sharp will be joining the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship at the annual Rays of Hope Candlelight Vigil on Friday, October 6th at approximately 6:30 p.m., on the steps of the US Capitol in Washington, DC. The Vigil is a time to honor, celebrate and remember all those affected by cancer, as well as a time to send the message to our nation's leaders that cancer is still an issue.

Kevin will be singing two songs (possibly Nobody Knows and She's Sure Taking It Well). Other performers include Kelly Price and David Bailey, a brain tumor survivor. Other guests include Richard Roundtree, from the original movie Shaft, Sam Donaldson, Antonio Novella, and a number of others.

The Rays of Hope event website is http://www.nccs-raysofhope.net. Be sure to also visit The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, which is the nation's only patient-led advocacy organization advocating on behalf of the nation's 8.2 million cancer survivors. At both sites, you'll find several ways to participate and/or donate to a very worthy cause.

Many thanks to Heather Gaillard of the NCCS, who kindly shared this terrific news with KevinFriends!
